Is TREEI eligible to receive CSR funds?
Yes. TREE Innovative Foundation is a Section 8 company registered with CSR-1, and holds 12A and 80G registration. We share all registration documents during scoping.
Which Schedule VII areas do your projects cover?
Our work maps to rural development, environmental sustainability, protection of heritage, education and livelihood, women’s empowerment, and health and nutrition. We help align each project with your CSR policy.
What reporting will we receive?
A formal MoU with milestones, periodic field reports with photos, fund-utilisation statements and a live dashboard view of your project’s outcomes.
Can our employees volunteer?
Yes. Teams can join installation drives, plantations, river clean-ups and school sessions in and around Pune.
Is my donation to TREEI tax-deductible?
Yes. TREEI is registered under Section 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act, so donations from Indian taxpayers are eligible for deduction under Section 80G. Your 80G receipt is emailed after you give.
How is my money used?
Unrestricted gifts go where communities need them most across our programs. Every rupee is allocated and reported, and organisation-wide outcomes are published on our live dashboard.
Can I give monthly?
Yes. Choose Monthly when you give; you can change or stop it any time by writing to us.
How can I volunteer with TREEI?
Join field drives, offer your skills remotely or start a campus chapter. Register on our Get Involved page and we will match you to a role.
How can our village or school work with TREEI?
Request a visit through this website, by phone or on WhatsApp. Our team will visit, listen to your needs and plan with you.
Does the community have to pay?
There is no cost for the assessment visit. Projects are funded by partners and donors; the community contributes ownership — a Samiti, time and upkeep.
Who owns what is built?
The community. Assets and decisions are handed over to a village Samiti or local group, with training so they can run and maintain them.
Where does TREEI work?
Across Pune city, Pune district including Mulshi, and the Sahyadri tribal belt and heritage forts of Maharashtra.
